The main purpose of this initiative is to supply sanitary towels to underprivileged girls within the Diepkloof community and schools. 

In the past five years since the inception of the ET Radebe Foundation, we’ve introduced and hosted sports tournaments mainly focusing on soccer and netball for the neighbouring and surrounding schools in the Diepkloof Township.

Due to covid-19 restrictions the Foundation has unfortunately not been able to host its annual tournaments and hence the introduction of the Sanitary Towels Drive. 

The ET Radebe ran with this drive in the months of June, July, and August of 2021. We managed to hand over 500 sanitary towels packets to the Crystal Fountain Foundation (based in Pimville, Soweto) in the month of September 2021.
